JAMB's O'Level verification step has confused many FUADSI aspirants. This guide explains what it is, who is affected, and why you should not ignore it.
What Is O'Level Verification?
JAMB must confirm that the O'Level result on your profile is genuine before it can be used for admission. Candidates who tried to upload results at JAMB offices were reportedly sent to a cyber cafe to complete verification and get a code first.
Why It Matters
Who Needs It?
Opinions in the aspirants' group differed:
- Candidates who already verified earlier do not need to repeat it.
- Some members said results uploaded at an accredited CBT centre may not need separate verification.
- Results uploaded from home or by yourself were said to need verification.
- Candidates whose profile still shows "O'Level verification" should treat it as pending.
These rules came from group members, not JAMB. Check your own JAMB profile status to be sure.
What to Do
- Log in to your JAMB profile and check your O'Level upload status.
- If it shows pending verification, follow JAMB's current verification instructions or visit a JAMB-accredited centre.
- Keep the verification code or receipt you are given.
- Re-check your profile after a few days to confirm the update.
